"How did you do that?!" one of them asks, astonished.
"I can only do this in dreams, so we must be dreaming!" I reply with a grin.
Just to be sure, I do a reality check: I pinch my nose and try to breathe through it. Yep, I'm in a dream! Feeling excited, I decide to go to Ireland and wonder if anyone wants to come along.
"Do you want to come with me to Ireland?" I ask a woman nearby.
"Sure, but how?" she replies.
"I’ll fly us there, so hold on tight!"
Without hesitation, she jumps onto my back, and I soar into the air. As we fly, I spot a building ahead and decide to impress her by heading straight for it.
"Close your eyes!" I tell her.
We fly right through the building, and the dream begins to fade. I can feel the debris swirling around us, so I know we're still in the dream, but everything is getting blurry and dark. After a few moments, the dream begins to render again.
And, of course... we're not in Ireland at all.
Instead of the green hills of Ireland, we're surrounded by a strange red landscape, with no one in sight. In the distance, I spot a vintage amusement park.
"Wait, are we on Mars? And is that an amusement park? What do you think? Is it alright if we explore this first and save Ireland for another time?"
The woman agrees, and we decide to explore the amusement park.
Sadly, I wake up before we even make it to the entrance.
